10 am (90 min)
with Luke Luttgens
In recognition of Thank a First Responder Day, we’re honoured to offer a complimentary 90-minute yoga workshop created specifically for those who serve our communities on the front line.
First responders work in environments that demand vigilance, rapid response and sustained resilience. While activation is part of the role, recovery is a skill that can be trained. This workshop introduces simple, evidence-informed tools to support nervous system regulation, with techniques you can use both on and off shift.
This is our small way of saying thank you for all that you do. We look forward to welcoming you.
What to expect:
- Simple grounding techniques to help you shift from high alert to steady presence
- Movement that supports coordination, focus and cognitive clarity
- Practical breathwork tools+ A guided non-sleep deep rest (Yoga Nidra) practice to support nervous system recovery
- Time after class for tea and connection
- No prior yoga experience is required
About Luke:
This workshop is led by Luke Luttgens, an experienced yoga teacher whose approach blends lived experience, psychological insight, and disciplined practice. Drawing on a decade in the military, academic training in psychology, and years of traditional yoga study across Australia, New York City and India, he brings a grounded perspective on movement, breath and stress resilience. His teaching emphasises repetition, awareness and practical tools that translate into everyday life, especially under pressure.
