Our four-week Beginners Yoga Course is the perfect introduction to the world of yoga, and our teachers take each class step by step to ensure you feel confident on the mat!
Fantastic for those who have never tried yoga before, or those wishing to deepen their knowledge and confidence and refine their poses. The course is Hatha Yoga based and focuses on the history and philosophy of yoga, breathing, meditation and alignment - ensuring that you have the confidence to step into any yoga class upon completion!

You can find our Holland Park studio at 50 Seville Rd, Holland Park - just next to Radiance Dance Academy on the corner of Seville Rd and Roscoe St.
Just look out for the beautiful brick building with parallel parks.
Stretch Yoga is located on Level 2, 129 Margaret St.
We're just up from the Albert St. corner (the block in between Albert St. and George St.) and on the side of the road closest to the Botanic Gardens.
The building is the beautiful heritage-listed Watson Brothers building - look for the gorgeous big red door and you'll find us up the top, on level 2!
Parking is available on the streets around the studio (subject to availability - please check meters), or via FirstParking, Secure Parking, Wilson Parking, or Myer Centre Parking – check their websites for rates (cheaper when booked online in advance).
For a comfortable and enjoyable experience at Stretch Yoga, we recommend bringing a few essentials:
To stay hydrated throughout your practice we recommend bringing a water bottle. Hydration is key to supporting your body as you move and stretch.
A small towel can be handy for wiping away sweat and providing additional comfort during your session.
While we have a limited number of mats available for hire at $2, we recommend bringing your own yoga mat.
Remember to choose clothing that allows you to move freely and doesn't restrict your movements. As for footwear, we typically practice barefoot or with grip socks.
When it comes to attire, comfort is key. We recommend wearing breathable, moisture-wicking fabrics that allow for a full range of motion. Opt for flexible leggings or shorts paired with a comfortable tank top or T-shirt.
We'll start to book everyone in 15 minutes prior to the class starting. Your teacher will be available to chat about anything that's going on and suggest modifications throughout the practice to keep you safe!
