1. Studio Etiquette
Arrival and Late Entry Policy
Please arrive in time, not on time for your practice.
Arriving 10 to 15 minutes before class starts gives you enough time for a smooth check-in and to get settled in.
Out of respect for our teachers and fellow students, latecomers will not be admitted.
Our studio doors will be closed at the advertised class start time.
No-Show and Cancellation Etiquette
A $4 fee apply for late cancellations and no-shows for direct debit and unlimited pass holders.
If you are holding a multi-class pass, you forfeit the booked class.
A late-cancellation fee of $3 applies to all cancellations made within 2 hours of the advertised class start time.
Habitual no-shows may result in a $10 no-show fee.
Phone and Smart Watch Policy
Please turn off your mobile phone or place it on airplane mode as you enter the studio.
Leave phones and belongings in the reception area, or place them out of sight.
If you use a smartwatch, please disable notifications and avoid touching/checking them during class.
Exceptions may be made for urgent matters; please inform the Studio Manager or Teacher before class.
Fit for Purpose
Unless you inform us otherwise, we assume you have no health risks, conditions, or injuries.
You must immediately inform us if you believe that class participation could pose a risk to your health.
While we cannot offer diagnosis, we can offer modifications for practice, however please always work with your body and adjust as you need.
You have freedom of choice: In each asana, the depth and expression are your personal decision.
Our teachers instructions are always an offer, please practice in consideration of your body, energy and ability each day.
Yoga is not a competition: Each practitioner is on their individual path and attending for personal reasons.
Embrace your yoga journey, finding joy in each pose and observing the positive changes both on and off the mat.
Please commit to the full duration of each class; for the safety and consideration of other students, leaving before or during Savasana is discouraged.
Studio mats are available for hire at $2 to those who forget theirs or for travellers.
Ensure to wipe down mats thoroughly after use, with sprays and cloths provided.
Mat storage is available at Stretch Yoga CBD for $6 / month.
Speak to our team to secure storage and set up a direct debit.
Whilst we take utmost care in storing mats, we cannot assume responsibility for any damage or loss incurred during the storage period.
Lost and Found
Stretch Yoga cannot be responsible for lost, left or stolen items.
Please contact the studio directly regarding any items left behind.
Subject to the studio's discretion, minors (11 years and older) are welcome with a parent or guardian, with payment required for each person.
Parent/guardian to take responsibility for the child's behaviour.
Children 16 years or older may attend without a chaperone, subject to the studio's discretion.
Classes are geared towards adults; teachers may not accommodate or adjust for minors.
2. Memberships & Class Passes
New Student 2 Week Trial Pass
An offer valid for new students, who have never attended Stretch Yoga, at any location, class or event.
As such, this offer is limited to one pass per person.
The two-week trial cannot be paused, extended or shared with others.
It is valid for 14 days from the first class booked.
To access two weeks of unlimited yoga and pilates on us, sign up for a membership before your trial ends.
Membership Billing and Suspension
Contracts are billed fortnightly with a twelve-week minimum commitment.
Suspension requests must be submitted in writing, two weeks in advance.
Holds can be placed in two-week increments for up to six months per year.
Immediate suspension due to sickness/injury requires a medical certificate.
Cancellations must be made in writing with a minimum of 2 weeks notice before the final payment.
Memberships are the responsibility of the member to cancel; non-attendance or payment issues do not warrant a refund.
Memberships do not automatically cancel due to non-attendance or missed payments.
In such cases, payments accumulate and may be forwarded to a debt collection agency.
Cancellation while on hold requires one final payment.
1, 6 and 12 Month Class Passes
1, 6 and 12-month passes activate from the first booked class.
12-month passes have a maximum six-month suspension;
6-month passes have a maximum three-month suspension.
No extensions or suspensions for 1-month passes.
1, 10, 20 and 50 Class Passes
Valid for 12 months from purchase.
No extensions or suspensions.
No shows or late cancellations (within 2 hours) will forfeit a class.
Must be purchased in-studio with a valid Pensioners Card, Seniors Card, or Full-Time Student Card.
Workshops and Courses
All workshops and courses are non-refundable/non-transferable for any change in your circumstance.
One make-up class , per course, may be given for missed Course dates, in a subsequent course or used as credit towards a 1 hour class.
Refunds or account credit only in the event of cancellation, rescheduling, or significant relocation by Stretch Yoga.
3. Website and Booking System Usage
By accessing and using our website, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use the website.
We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information on our website. However, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability concerning the website or the information, products, services, or related graphics contained on the website.
Mind Body Booking System
To make bookings for our classes, you may need to create an account on the Mind Body booking system.
All bookings made through the Mind Body system are subject to the terms and conditions set by Mind Body.
Please familiarise yourself with these terms on the Mind Body website.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Mind Body account credentials.
Notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.
While we strive to ensure the smooth operation of the Mind Body booking system, we are not responsible for any technical issues or disruptions that may occur.
We recommend contacting Mind Body directly for assistance with technical problems.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any aspect of the Mind Body booking system at any time.
