What do I need to bring?

For a comfortable and enjoyable experience at Stretch Yoga, we recommend bringing a few essentials:

To stay hydrated throughout your practice we recommend bringing a water bottle. Hydration is key to supporting your body as you move and stretch.

A small towel can be handy for wiping away sweat and providing additional comfort during your session.

While we have a limited number of mats available for hire at $2, we recommend bringing your own yoga mat.

What should I wear?

Remember to choose clothing that allows you to move freely and doesn't restrict your movements. As for footwear, we typically practice barefoot or with grip socks.

When it comes to attire, comfort is key. We recommend wearing breathable, moisture-wicking fabrics that allow for a full range of motion. Opt for flexible leggings or shorts paired with a comfortable tank top or T-shirt.

What classes are great for beginners?

For beginners seeking a gentle introduction to the transformative world of yoga, we highly recommend our Hatha, Yin, and Gentle classes at Stretch Yoga. These classes are thoughtfully designed to cater to individuals who are new to yoga, providing a welcoming and accessible environment for everyone.

What if I have an injury or health concern?

We'll start to book everyone in 15 minutes prior to the class starting. Your teacher will be available to chat about anything that's going on and suggest modifications throughout the practice to keep you safe!

I am unable to book online - how can I get help?

If you're experiencing any challenges with our online booking system, we're here to assist you promptly. Please feel free to reach out to our dedicated team via email at info@stretchyoga.com.au for comprehensive support.

Alternatively, you can call our studio directly, and one of our friendly staff members will guide you through the booking process or address any issues you may be encountering.

I am running late - will I still be able to attend?

Timeliness is integral to ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all our participants. At Stretch Yoga, we strongly encourage arriving at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time for each class.

To maintain the quality of our sessions, our doors close promptly at the indicated class starting time, and unfortunately, no exemptions can be made. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, causing delays. If you find yourself running late or unable to attend a booked class for any reason, please notify us as soon as possible.

This allows us to manage the class attendance efficiently and potentially offer your spot to someone on the waitlist. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to our policy, as it ensures a positive experience for all participants.

If you have any concerns or need further assistance, feel free to contact us at info@stretchyoga.com.au. Your punctuality is valued, and we look forward to welcoming you to Stretch Yoga for a transformative practice.

I can no longer make it to class - what should I do?

If you find yourself unable to attend a class you've booked at Stretch Yoga, we appreciate your proactive approach in letting us know. To manage your reservation effectively and potentially open up the space for others, please inform us as soon as possible. This allows us to offer your spot to those on the waitlist.

Reach out to us via email at info@stretchyoga.com.au or give us a call. Our team is here to assist you and can guide you through any necessary steps.

Can my child attend class with me?

Children aged 11 years of age, and older, are welcome to attend our classes, providing they are accompanied by a parent or guardian, with class payment required for each person. However, it is the parent/guardian's responsibility to ensure their child does not disturb or distract the teacher or the experience of other students.

Children 16 years or older may attend without a chaperone, however their attendance remains at the discretion of the studio, and each individual teacher.

For safety reasons, we do not permit children, or anyone, to remain in our reception areas during class. Please arrange alternative supervision for them outside of the studio.

Please see our Terms and Conditions for further information and clarification, or get in touch and we can have a chat about your circumstance.

How do I use a guest pass to bring a friend for free?

First, ensure that your current membership includes a monthly guest pass. If you're unsure, you can review your membership details on our online platform or contact our team for assistance.

Then, choose a class that both you and your friend would like to attend. Check the schedule on our website or app to find a convenient time.

Reach out to our team either through our online platform, email at info@stretchyoga.com.au, or by phone in advance. Let us know which class and studio you and your friend plan to attend, and we'll assist you with the guest pass reservation.

Once your reservation is confirmed, simply arrive early at the studio with your friend, and our team will ensure a seamless check-in process.

We look forward to welcoming both you and your friend to Stretch for a shared yoga experience. If you have any questions or need further assistance, don't hesitate to get in touch.
