In yoga philosophy, the koshas are described as five layers or 'sheaths' of our being - from the physical body to the most subtle essence of the self. In this workshop, we'll explore these layers through a blend of meditation, reflection and creative expression.
Friday, May 8th, 2026, 7.00 pm (120 min)
be lovingly guided through practices to attune to each kosha - moving from body, to breath, to mind, intuition, and finally to the blissful heart of being. After each meditation, we'll pause to paint or draw our impressions, creating a personal, layered artwork that reflects your inner landscape.
No art experience is needed - this is about expression, not perfection. By the end, you'll have a deeper, felt sense of how the koshas can guide us toward wholeness. Come as you are, and leave with a canvas of your own inner light.

Stretch-resident yogi Laura has a Bachelor of Arts in Theology and qualifications in Herbal Medicine, and Creative Arts Therapy. Off the mat, Laura is a writer, artist and nature lover exploring themes of slowing down to appreciate life's regenerative beauty.
Laura discovered yoga over a decade ago and it was love at first asana. The power of the practice to calm the mind and connect to the body inspires her daily. She completed 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training in 2017 with Santosha Yoga Institute and 120 hours Meditation and Yoga at Hridaya Yoga Institute in Mexico.
In Sanskrit Santosha means 'contentment' and Hridaya means 'spiritual heart.' The capacity yoga has for developing self-acceptance, compassion and curiosity is an endless journey Laura delights to be on.
