Stretch Yoga + Temple Retreat Pullenvale

A day retreat to reset your mind and body

If the year has been a blur of busyness and you've struggled to find time for yourself, The Gentle Reset is your mid-year invitation to pause, breathe, and reconnect.

Led by teachers Mandy and Kayla, you can expect a day of gentle movement, guided pranayama, journaling and meditation practices along with practical yogic techniques you can incorporate into your day-to-day life. You'll leave with a personalised toolkit - bridging the gap between the retreat and your daily life - with the skills to slow down and reconnect whenever you need.

Held on the grounds of Temple Retreat in Pullenvale, this day retreat offers you the chance to spend luxurious time surrounded by nature, fill your cup and come home to yourself.

What to expect?

Gentle, embodied yoga (asana) practices:
We will open with a gentle hatha-style flow and finish the day with a slow, restorative movement and yoga nidra.

Practical self-care tools: Learn how to make yoga work for your body with practical and supportive movements, even when you're at your desk, in the car, or at home.

Nervous system nurturing:Through guided breathwork, body awareness, and sound, you will be supported to shift from "doing" to "being".

Catered connection: Enjoy a catered morning tea and lunch while you to connect with like-minded people or simply enjoy the quiet.

Meet your host: Mandy

Mandy is passionate about creating yoga spaces where everybody feels welcome. She specialises in curvy and beginner-friendly classes that meet students exactly where they are. She invites yoga to be a practice that feels supportive and nourishing for each unique body.

Mandy incorporates props and thoughtful variations to help students move with confidence and ease. She believes yoga is for everyone, regardless of age, size, or experience, and finds deep joy in seeing students leave class feeling more at home in themselves.

Meet your host: Kayla

As someone who came to yoga from a place where she needed to prioritise her health and wellbeing, Kayla found a nurturing and empowering practice with practical tools for wellbeing and nervous system regulation. The joy of finding connection between body and mind through gentle practice soon blossomed into a love of pranayama, creative flows, and meditative movement.

Kayla's intention for this retreat is to not only hold space for replenishment and reconnection, but additionally share yogic tools you can take off the mat and use in your day-to-day. She is passionate about creating a space where students feel both nurtured and empowered in their practice, and her teachings are guided by breath work, progressive options and an open, warm attitude.
