Embark on a journey designed to harmonise your body and mind: Laural's hugely popular Yin Sound Bath combines yin yoga postures, the soothing sounds of sacred instruments and calming live music to create an immersive experience like no other.

Let this soothing setting guide you on a journey through yin yoga postures, each chosen to align and harmonise your chakras (body energy centres). These postures will help you gently stretch and release tension from your physical body. Accompanied by the soothing sounds of crystal sound bowls, chimes, guitar, and live harmony loops, this session is an invitation to relax and connect deeply with your body.

This unique blend of practices will help you release tension, and tap into your deepest source of inner peace.​ Allow the tranquil sounds and the healing power of music to transport you away from the busy world, helping you to find relaxation, reconnect with yourself and find inner balance!

What to expect?

Sound baths are meditative experiences where you are enveloped in sound waves from various instruments, helping to calm the mind, reduce stress, and promote relaxation. Sound vibrations are also said to aid in relieving physical pain and improving sleep.

In this special edition of her yin sound bath, Laural will focus on balancing the body's energy centres or chakras. This involves aligning areas that influence physical and emotional well-being. She'll apply specific sounds and yoga postures to help open and balance these pathways, enhancing overall health and harmony.

Yoga teacher, musician and sound bath facilitator Laural Furze brings to Stretch Yoga an hypnotic and restorative experience like no other.​

Honouring the Yogic Traditions, Laural Infuses ancient Mantras and ambient vocals layered over Crystal Sound Bowls, guitar, sound healing chimes & more all while guiding you through a gentle and nourishing Yin Yoga practice.

As we are eagerly awaiting the date of our workshop, here are some commonly asked questions to help you prepare!
How do I find Stretch Yoga CBD?

Find us on Level 2 of 129 Margaret St, just up from the Botanic Garden, on the block in between Albert St. and George St.

The building is the beautiful heritage-listed Watson Brothers building - look for the gorgeous big red door and you'll find us there!


Is parking available?

You can find parking spots on the streets around the studio (subject to availability - please check metres).

Paid parking is also available via FirstParking on 53 Albert St, Brisbane (2-minute walk to the studio), Secure Parking on 175 Mary St, Brisbane (5-minute walk) and Wilson Parking on 140 Elizabeth St, Brisbane (5-minute walk).

What do I need to bring?

Please bring a yoga mat (we have a limited amount available for hire) and towel.

If you have an eye pillow, please bring it along as well.

We do have lots of yoga props available, but if you prefer to use your own, feel free to do so!

What should I wear?

Please wear comfortable clothing you can freely move in.
