As winter's embrace invites us inward, join us for an extraordinary evening of profound relaxation and healing. This unique 90-minute workshop beautifully weaves together the gentle art of Yin Yoga with the ancient wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine through therapeutic acupuncture.
$59 per person.
In the depths of winter, nature teaches us the sacred art of slowing down. The Water element calls us to honour our body's need for deep restoration, and the kind of stillness that allows true healing to unfold.
Laura Roberts, Stretch Yoga resident teacher, will guide you through a carefully crafted Yin sequence, designed to align with winter's energy and support the meridians that govern our deepest reserves of vitality. As you settle into extended, supported poses, your body will naturally prepare for the profound relaxation to come.
During an extended Savasana, Dr. Phoebe Blackwell from Ova Acupuncture will tenderly administer acupuncture treatment, allowing the ancient needles to work their gentle magic while you rest in complete stillness. This isn't just relaxation, it's a return to your most authentic, peaceful self.
This workshop honours the Traditional Chinese Medicine understanding that winter is the season of the Kidneys, our body's powerhouse of vital energy, willpower, and deep reserves. Through the marriage of Yin Yoga's passive stretches and acupuncture's meridian-balancing wisdom, you'll experience restoration that reaches far beyond the physical.
Dr. Phoebe brings her compassionate, holistic approach rooted in evidence-based practice and deep understanding of the body's interconnectedness. Her gentle care ensures that every participant feels completely supported throughout their healing journey.
Phoebe is a compassionate and dedicated AHPRA-registered Chinese Medicine practitioner who is passionate about empowering individuals to better understand their bodies and take control of their health. She holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Acupuncture Therapies) from Endeavour College and has furthered her expertise with additional training in The Fertile Life Method by Kirsten Wolfe.
With a deep understanding of the body's intricate interconnectedness, Phoebe approaches each patient's care holistically, recognising that physical, emotional, and mental health are all intertwined. Her practice is rooted in education, compassion, and evidence-based methods, helping individuals gain a greater understanding of their health and make informed decisions that support long-term well-being.
By integrating both traditional and complementary therapies, Phoebe creates a comprehensive, personalised approach that ensures every individual feels seen, heard, and fully supported on their health journey.
