CLASS STYLES
HATHA FOUNDATIONS (SIMPLE STRETCH)
(HATHA - ALL LEVELS) Hatha Foundations is the perfect class to learn the foundations of yoga, breath work, meditation and postures, in a safe and supportive environment. As a Hatha based class, postures are generally held for a longer period, creating an opportunity to build foundational knowledge, focus on alignment, and to slowly develop strength, stamina and flexibility. Taught at a slower pace, allowing time to understand the foundations and energetics of each pose, offering space to discover variations, prop usage and to learn how the poses can work for you. A great class for beginners and intermediates alike! |
YIN YOGA (DEEP STRETCH)
(YIN / RESTORATIVE - ALL LEVELS) Yin Yoga is a passive and restorative style of yoga with a focus on holding poses and stretches for between 3 – 5 minutes at a time. We work into joints and ligaments on a cool body, to create space and encourage healing and recovery. Expect to go into long, deep holds while you enter a mindful, meditative and grounded state, creating space in both body and mind. |
VINYASA FLOW (FLOWING STRETCH)
(VINYASA - INTERMEDIATE) Vinyasa yoga is practiced by linking conscious breath with fluid movement, creating strength, freedom, balance and fluidity in both body and mind. We flow through a curated sequence of yoga postures, linked together and coordinated with conscious breath. The beauty of Vinyasa yoga is in its variety, with opportunity for creativity and expression. Its style, pace and intensity may vary depending on the teacher, their style, season and time of day |
PILATES
(MAT PILATES - ALL LEVELS) Pilates is taught as a series of small, repetitive exercises performed with precision and control to promote toning, length, stability, and mobility through the whole body. Pilates exercises target the smaller, deeper, stabilising muscles of the body, leaving you with a strong, functional and correctly aligned foundation. |
VINYIN (FLOW'N'DEEP) (VINYASA & YIN - ALL LEVELS) A bit of yang and then a bit of yin, a bit of flowing vinyasa followed by Yin to finish. This class is the perfect combo of movement and stillness - move and flow with your breath and body, then sink into restorative bliss at the end. A fantastically well-rounded practice with the benefits of both styles. |
DYNAMIC FLOW (VINYASA - ADVANCED) A class for the pretzel yogis, busting out asana like nobodies business. If you enjoy turning yourself upside down and inside out, then this one is for you. Expect a strong, challenging, dynamic vinyasa flow, interspersed with play time and workshop style moments to explore advanced transitions and postures. If at first you don't succeed, have a giggle, dust yourself off and try again! |
MINIS & ME
(INFANTS BIRTH - CRAWLING AGE) A beautiful mix of postnatal exercises, yoga poses with your baby, and helping your baby discover movement. These classes are a gorgeous way to bond and provide you with some much needed 'you' time. Includes a 45 minute postnatal class, followed by the opportunity chat and connect with other new parents over a hot tea or cool drink |
YIN & NIDRA (DEEP & NIDRA)
ALL LEVELS - 75 MINUTES Yin Yoga followed by a beautiful, deep, conscious state of relaxation: Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep. Nidra works as a healing, powerful meditation technique, taking you through a complete body scan, breath work, and guided meditation, leaving you with a deep sense of wholeness and rest. 75 minutes to slow down, drop in and turn inward. |
