Winter invites us to slow down, turn inward, and return to our roots.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, winter is governed by the Water element; the deepest, most Yin energy of the year. The Water element lives in the kidneys, the storehouse of our vital essence and the seat of both our fears and our courage. When we stop running from the quiet and learn to rest inside it, we discover something ancient and steady waiting there, the roots from which real courage grows.
This immersive workshop weaves together somatic awareness, Yin yoga, and a live sound bath to guide you on a journey into the body's deep intelligence. Through gentle movement practices, long-held Yin postures targeting the Kidney and Bladder meridians, and the healing vibration of sound, you will be held as you soften, settle, and descend.
Fear and tension are welcomed as messengers. Stillness as a teacher. Like a seed resting in winter soil, you leave nourished and full of potential.
This workshop is open to all levels: no yoga experience is required, only a willingness to fully arrive.
$49 per person. Members receive up to 20% off at checkout (be sure to log into your Momence account beforehand).
Each month we have a variety of offerings, courses and workshops to help you deepen and develop your practice on and off the mat.
