$39 per person | $19 for direct debit members & teacher trainees
Have the splits always been on your bucket list? Want to work on tight hamstrings and hip flexors? Or just wanting a new party trick for this year? What we usually call “front splits” is known in yoga as Hanumanasana, named after the Hindu God Hanuman. In case you've never heard of him, Hanuman was a monkey warrior who crossed the ocean in a single, giant leap. For many of us with 21st century bodies, the front splits can seem just as impossible. But with time, dedication and practice we might not cross oceans but can definitely cross the length of our mat! This workshop is all about the journey, not the destination! You'll learn patience and anatomy, a bit of yogic philosophy and of course physical poses. Paris will take you on a journey through a mindful flow, lead into skills, drills and progressions before winding down into some yin poses and a guided meditation. Join Paris in this 2-hour workshop and leave feeling like the floor is a little less far away!
All levels welcome!
