STRETCH ACADEMY MID-SEMESTER EXAM

It's time to put all that amazing knowledge you've accumulated to use! Give yourself at least 90 minutes of distraction free time to complete this - it's all written in your course book, and you know SO much more than you think! Resist the urge to Google answers - remember you might come up with different answers to what we've taught you - each lineage varies slightly! Remember to breathe, don't stress (activate your parasympathetic!) and remind yourself that this is going to help you find areas you need to go back to - there's no judgment, just more learning about yourself to be gained!

If your internet is not always reliable, we recommend screenshotting or pasting longer responses into a document as you go (so you don't lose them!).

    Write 100- 200 words on the following:

    ​Section 4: Long Response – 15 marks each
    Pick one of the following questions and write 1-2 pages answering the question in full:

    1. If you were taking a private class with a student who was feeling stressed and anxious, what 5 things would you be sure to include in the class and why? Make sure to include 1x asana, 1x pranayama exercise and 1x meditation technique.
     
    1. Explain EACH of the 8 limbs of yoga in your own words.
     
    1. How many ways can you move the hip joint? Give 1 asana for each movement and explain how to modify the pose for someone with limited mobility in that movement (include prop usage if applicable).
