Here is our simple Q & A about masks in and around the studios - we can't wait to see you on the mat soon!
Do I have to wear a mask at Stretch
Masks need to be worn indoors at all times, so unless you have a valid exception the answer is yes. These may include:
Do I have to wear a mask during strenuous classes?
Strenuous exercise is a valid reason for removing your mask. We will explain to you that in flows or exercises you will feel exertion on a scale of 1 - 10. If you feel that the exercise is a 5 or above (or 3 or above when pregnant), we are happy for you to remove your mask to complete the flow or exercise, catch your breath, and then we ask that you place your mask back on.
Do Yoga teachers need to wear a mask?
Yes they must wear a mask while in reception and moving around the room. However, as per the directive there is an exemption if the nature of a person’s work or education means that clear enunciation or visibility of the mouth is essential;
Examples – teaching, lecturing, learning, or live broadcasting.
Your teacher will have a mask with them at all times, however may remove their mask to teach but only while on their mat. They will however very strictly socially distance with their mask off, and will replace their mask as soon as practical.
If you have any questions about the above, or need to change any upcoming class bookings, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
