“The money we raised for the RSPCA Queensland goes to help the amazing work they do to rehome and foster animals in Queensland. Our puppy classes booked out in record time and we’re happy to be able to give back to our community with a fun and meaningful event like this,” she said.
RSPCA Queensland Spokesperson Rhiannon Smith said the money raised would go towards helping animals in need.
“We currently rehome more animals than any other organisation in the Southern Hemisphere,” she said.
“As a community-based charity – we receive less than 1 per cent of funding from the government – and rely on donations like this to keep our animal centres, programs and services up and running.
“I’d like to extend a huge thank you to the team at Stretch Yoga for helping us care for, and improve the lives of animals throughout Queensland
As well as the sold-out 45-minute puppy yoga and Pilates classes, yogis took part in several mini workshops on handstands, yoga for anxiety, and meditation.
