Quinoa flakes are a great alternative to traditional oats -they are gluten free and suitable for those with coeliac disease. Quinoa is known as the “mother of all grains” and is high in protein, magnesium and manganese. Paired with berries, almond milk and nuts, this is the perfect start to any winters morning and a great pre-or-post yoga meal!

3/4 cup Quinoa Flakes
2 cups almond milk
150g fresh or frozen mixed berries
Small handful of pistachios
Add the quinoa flakes to just boiling almond milk (you can use other types of milk, apple juice or water instead). Reduce heat to low and simmer stirring occasionally for 5 or so minutes until thickened. Serve with berries and roughly chopped pistachios. Enjoy warm!
