For some reason these days (perhaps it’s out new found emphasis on health, wellness and safety) we have a tendency to want to wrap pregnant women in cotton wool. Despite women working in the fields and running extremely busy households for thousands of years while pregnant, these days there seems to be an ever growing lists of ‘don’ts’ when it comes to carrying a child. Don't eat soft cheese, don't eat sushi, don't change the kitty litter... – so when a study finds that yoga (not just prenatal yoga) is safe for pregnancy we think that’s a pretty good reason to share!
